Sunny Sunday

I had a soccer game today down in Newport. My first of the season. Lauren and Kristen came down to the game to look after Sean while I played. We then all went out to lunch in Bristol,RI at a restaurant right on the water that Mark and I used to frequent when we lived in Bristol a couple of years ago. I have alot of pictures here, sorry! They just came out so cute. Kudos to our photographer Lauren.

Apple Picking

We went apple picking today at Maple Lane Farm in Preston. My friend Becca came down to visit and we met up with some of the other wives from Mark's boat. It was a beautiful day and made for some great picking. I now have more apples than I know what to do with. Sean is going to be eating applesauce for months!!!

Today Sean and I went to the playground with our friends Naomi and Samantha.

Naomi was born a month before Sean and lives down the street from us.

It was a beautiful day and alot of fun. Sean loved the swings!!

A great day!

Its amazing what a little sleep will do for someone. I feel like a brand new person. Sean has been sleeping great the last few nights! I'm knocking on wood right now so as to not jinx it.

Today we had our "Little Explorers" class at Bellani Maternity. Such fun! Eight babies crawling around on colorful mats and different shaped forms. Its so fun to see them all interact with each other and get excited as they discover new things.

In the afternoon Sean's babysitter came over and I mowed the lawn. Yes I have a babysitter come so that I can mow the lawn! :) Afterward Sean and I went for a long walk. My sister Lauren got me into the Twilight series of books by Stephenie Meyer. So talk about multitasking.....Sean was napping in the stroller while I walked to get some exercise in and also listened to a book on tape on my ipod!

Mystic Aquarium

Lauren came to visit today and we took a trip to the Mystic Aquarium. It was great. We saw the Sea Lion show, learned about Beluga Whales and visited with the penguins. I think the penguins were Seans favorites.

He Slept Through The Night!!!!

Sean is a wonderful baby. He's happy and playful almost all day long. My only complaint is that I haven't been able to get him to sleep through the night. He's almost nine months old and sleep has definitely been a struggle. I chaulked it up to the fact that he's still nursing but last night was fantastic!! He went down around 7:30pm and slept straight through the night. I kept waking up all night expecting to hear him screaming any minute but nothing. The only problem was that I had to wake the poor little guy up at 5:30am so that we could drive Mark into the boat this morning.

Halloween in September

So I know its only September but I've had a Halloween Costume for Sean from about the time that he was a month old, maybe before that and I wanted to try it on to make sure that it fit. It was soooo funny. Sean was laughing hysterically I think because I was laughing at him hysterically. I don't know if the costume will still fit by the end of October so I just had to post these pictures!

Catching up on Blogging

Mark' s been home lately so I haven't had much spare time to play around online. He left today and won't be home for awhile. I promised him that I'd keep up with the blog so that when he is able to get internet access he can check and see what we've been up to. So here goes.

We made it up to my parent's place in Maine two weekends ago had a great time. We took the sailboat out which hasn't happened in almost two years now and spent time taking walks and just relaxing.

I'm sorry to boast but what an adorable baby!! :)
