Cousin Dillon

I can't wait until all three little boys are running around the beaches of Frye Island next summer!!!!

The Santa Party

My parents have a huge party every Christmas. Its always the last Sunday before Christmas. All our family and friends are invited. Santa stops by for a visit and the kids break a pinata. This party has been a tradition starting back when I was little. Its lots of fun and a little crazy.

Connor had no problem with Santa. Next year may be a different story.....

Sean on the other hand was not a huge fan of Santa but did agree to give Santa a huge after he had recieved his present.

And what did Santa bring Sean.......A WONDER PETS CAPE!!! YEAH!!!!!

Sean's 2nd Birthday

Sean turned 2 on December 21st. We celebrated a day early at my parent's annual Santa Party. There were lots of presents, and a train birthday cake!!!

The Mystic Holiday Boat Parade

Sean, Connor, My sister Lauren and I all went to the Mystic Holiday boat parade this evening. I figured it was a great way to kick off the holiday season....Sean and Connor did not share this same sentiment.

The boat parade festivities consist of a tree lighting and then a parade of decorated boats through downtown Mystic. Sean was very excited by the countdown and tree lighting. I think he thought all the cheering was for him and made a mad dash for the tree as soon as he could wriggle away from me. I caught him just in time before he pulled off an entire string of lights.

The boat parade was very cool. The horn on the tugboat was a little scary for Sean but we pushed through. All in all it was a very good time but as with any activity these days it was alot of work. We managed to make it through a blowout diaper, Sean running this way and that all over the waterfront and then crying from both boys when they had had enough.

"Can someone please take me home now, or at least take off this stupid hat?"

Thomas the Tank Engine part 2

Thomas the Tank Engine part1-videos

The four of us went down to Essex,CT to spend the day with Thomas the Tank Engine and friends. Sean is in love with trains and we had the best time He was so excited to see the trains and even more excited when we told him that we were going to get to ride on the train.

When we first got to the train station we showed Sean the trains and talked to him about how we were going to ride on the train. We still had about an hour before it was our turn to ride the train and were going to walk around and look at everything else that was going on. Well I guess we got him a little too excited for the train ride because when he saw the train pulling away he started sobbing and pointing at the train. (turn up the sound, you can hear him). Is it bad that I think him crying over the train leaving is adorable?

Sorry this one is sideways but its so cute. Sean was so excited about the train ride and about the picture of Thomas that he got. He held on to it the entire day.

3 days of Halloween

We had a great Halloween. We have the cutest little Dragon and Dalmation that you've ever seen. We stretched the holiday out over three days starting with a Halloween party with my mom's club on Thursday, the Halloween parade at my mother's school on Friday and then Trick or Treating at Mystic Seaport on Saturday.

Ok so these pictures are out of order but its going to take me too much time to put them chronologically and I need to go to sleep.
