Boston Children's Museum

Friday was Lauren's 29th birthday. She requested that for her birthday we bring Sean to the Boston Children's Museum. It was alot of fun. Kinda crowded becuase of school vacation week but not horrible. We had a great day. Had lunch by the water after the museum and topped it off with some Ice Cream. Happy Birthday Lauren!!

Sean loved the Bubble Room of course!!!

Playing in the Toddler Room

Poking the eyes out of the seeing eye dog display. :)

Sarah, Elizabeth and Caroline

On Thursday Sean and I went up to my mother's for lunch. We were joined by my mother's cousin Pat, her daughter Julie, Julie's two girls Sarah and Elizabeth, Pat's Daughter in Law Eileen and her new baby Caroline and my aunt Barbara. Did you get all that? :)

It was great to let the kids all play together. Ages ranged from 10 weeks up to 3 years. It was especially interesting to see Sean's reaction when I held Caroline (10 weeks). He was not happy!!! Kept trying to climb up in my lap and eventually started crying. Very telling of things to come. Unfortunately I didn't end up with any pictures of Caroline. She's very cute though! Tons of thick black hair.

Sean's Tugboat

My parents got a Tugboat sandbox for Sean. Its really cute and Sean thinks its great. He loves to climb in side, even without any sand and play around in it. While I was visiting my parents last weekend I ran out to the store for a minute and came back to a very funny scene.

I caught both of my parents sitting in the Tugboat with Sean. It was pretty funny.
I guess Grand kids can be very persuasive.

Boat Picnic

Today Sean, Mark and I all went to a picnic held by Mark's boat. Lots of fun. Tons of food including a Fish Fry (it was Good Friday after all). There was even an egg hunt for the kids. We had a great afternoon!!

After the picnic we had an ultrasound appointment. All is well with the new baby!! We didn't find out the sex, we're keeping it a surprise. Looks like this baby is going to be another big one. So far he or she is measuring in the 95 percentile..... Oh boy!!!

Dinner with Daddy

Mark had duty today so Sean and I braved the wind and rain and brought a pizza over to the submarine to have dinner with Mark.

We've been having a massive rainstorm today so we bundled up in out raincoats.............

and then headed over to the base to meet up with Mark. Sean loved eating in the wardsroom. He was all smiles. I think it had to have been the change of scenery. He doesn't normally get to eat on a submarine.
