Our Family's Very First Fireworks
We had been debating all week whether or not it was a good idea to take the boys to the fireworks while we were up on Frye Island for the fourth. You see my family always goes to see the fireworks by boat. Neither Sean nor Connor have ever been to see Fireworks and we weren't sure how they would react. It could be great or it could go really badly. 9ish is a cranky/punchy time for the boys to begin with and then you add in lots of people and loud noises....we had no idea what to expect. Add to that, the fact that even if it went badly we were on a boat and couldn't get away....it all sounded like a recipe for disaster. But....we said screw it and did it anyway. :)

Brotherly Love
Ok, this video makes Mark and I not really look like the best parents. We should have broken up the fun long before we did, but both boys seemed to be having a good time. Noone was crying. Really, we don't usually let Sean drag Connor around. It was just really cute!!!
The Ghillie Suit
Yes you read that right, this post is about a Ghillie Suit. What you ask is a Ghillie Suit. Well this is a Ghillie Suit......
Why would one want a Ghillie Suit......I'm still trying to figure that out but regardless my family owns one. Mark turned 32 on May 16th. He's incredibly hard to buy for. Everytime he comes up with something he wants he buys it. Mark is also nothing if not extreme. Lately he's been shopping online for Ghillie Suits and bookmarking them on our computer. I've asked him over and over again why he wanted a Ghillie suit and the answer ranged from he thought it would be cool to "who wouldn't want to be able look like moss". Anyway, I found a cheap Ghillie suit on ebay and so as a joke I bought him one for his birthday.
